Rene has been nurtured by Nature his whole life. He’s been blessed and raised heading into the hills five out of the seven early mornings with his Grandfather hunting and fishing. Slowly, after years of listening and feeling the nature around him, he realized just how much it is a gift.

Rene was a Pro Ski Patroller and an Alaska smokejumper, and then eventually became a Fuels Management Officer for his home, Taos Pueblo.

He now advocates for connections to nature and home; moments where we’re able to give back and care for our Earth.
