Our trails are looking mighty fine this summer thanks to all of the hard work from our Adopt-A-Trail partners 🙌Here are some trail updates from the past month:⛏ Taos Land Trust installed motor vehicle barriers on the Palo Flechado trail off of Highway 64 to mitigate illegal motor vehicle use⛏ The Moreno Valley Trekkers improved drainage and mitigated illegal motor vehicle use on the Elliott Barker trail between Apache Pass and Bull Springs Meadow⛏ C. Saum & Crew cut out deadfall and encroaching vegetation on the Italianos Canyon trail⛏ Taos Mountain Bike Association logged out and cut back encroaching vegetation on the entirety of the Rio Chiquito and South Boundary trails⛏ Spider logged out 15 trees from the upper stretches of the Deer Creek trail⛏ Taos Trail Runners logged out, cut back encroaching vegetation, and improved the trail tread on the first 4 miles of the San Cristobal Canyon trail We still have a handful of volunteer projects left.
