🚨 Call to action! 🚨 We need YOUR voices to tell NMDOT that US 64 needs:🗣️ A separated, multi-use path from Hwy 150 to the High Bridge🗣️ An 8 foot shoulder the entire length of the project, with at least 6 feet of a usable shoulder for cyclists and pedestriansWhy should the state invest in cycling and pedestrian-friendly infrastructure?👩‍👧‍👦 People are more likely to be physically active when their communities have combined different approaches to make activity easier, such as creating access to walking and biking paths.🚴‍♀️ New Mexico has a high fatality rate for pedestrians and cyclists making it one of the most dangerous states in the nation.🏚️ Designated multi-use paths would further increase community connection in the Enchanted Circle. For more information on the project visit: enchantedcircletrails.org/2026/10/06/us-64-redesign/#trailsconnectus #enchantedcircletrails #enchantedcircle #nmoutdoors #nmoutside #nmtrue #trails #nmtrails #nmtrue ...
