Enchanted Circle Trails Association (ECTA) is seeking proposals from qualified Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Northwest New Mexico permitted contractors to complete a Class III Cultural Resource Inventory for the Horsethief Mesa Trail Project, located within the RΓ­o Grande del Norte National Monument in Taos County, New Mexico.

The survey will cover approximately 967 acres of proposed trail segments on BLM-administered land. Work will include records review, intensive pedestrian survey, site recording and documentation, GIS data, and preparation of draft and final Cultural Resource Inventory Reports in accordance with applicable BLM, SHPO, and NMCRIS standards.

Proposals are due August 31, 2026 by 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time and should be submitted as a single PDF toΒ info@enchantedcircletrails.org. ECTA anticipates contractor selection by September 4, 2026, with fieldwork expected to occur between September and November 2026.
